Columbia promotes Group Chief Financial Officer to support the next phase of global growth

Columbia Group is delighted to announce that it has promoted Nick Wharton to the role of Group Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, Nick will be focused on driving financial strategy and operations across the group. 

Nick Wharton is a Chartered Accountant with a proven track record internationally in challenging finance positions across various industries. He has held several positions as a partner designate in general practice and as a strategic member of corporate leadership teams. Nick joined Columbia in April 2021 as European Chief Operating Officer and has made significant contributions since then, which have led to his promotion. 

Nick Wharton, Group CFO of the Columbia Group, commented: 

‘Columbia is diverse and evolving business that is gearing up for rapid expansion. I feel fortunate to have joined the organisation at such a critical and interesting time, and I am honoured to now take on the role of Group CFO.’
